"Nnng...." Rift groaned out, hunched over in a type of fetal position. Probably not the best position, since she was wearing a mini skirt, but her mind was on her head at the moment. She didn't blame Derek, but it didn't stop her from getting a pounding headache.

Derek sat down with her. Jace moved both is hands, trying to use a bind spell on the bird.

"Well are the rest of you tongue-tied or something? I asked if any of you know where the witch Luna is. I find her I find the vampire" the Raven crows trying to open it's wings only to realise it couldn't. "Ok who's the wiseguy!"

Rift grit her teeth, opening her eyes which glimmered silver momentarily. "Make that bird shut up...it's not helping my headache..." she growled out. She clenched the hair on the back of her head, a little bit of blood mixed in where the edge of the counter cut her.

Derek strode over to the bird. "Jason, your bind spell is effective.", Derek said, grabbing the bird. Jace waited until Derek had grabbed the bird before lowering his hands. "Now Derek, I hope you through the dirty creature out the window.", Jace said.

"Hey! I'm no dirty creature, I clean my feathers quite often" the Raven says offended before pecking at Derek's hand

"Smartass little bird isn't it. But how is it talking in the first place?" Cathy says looking up though she was still playing her harp

Rift's back hunched up as she slowly sat up. It could be seen in her eyes that she was still a bit dazed from taking the hit. She glanced back over to the others, gently placing her hands on the floor to push herself up. "If the place is filled with supernaturals, it's pretty safe to assume that something supernatural did this...it did say it was looking for a witch," Rift said, staggering before leaning against the wall.

Jace chimed in. "There's a witch named Luna, she arrived yesterday, like me!". Derek looked at the bird. "If you plan on being good and leaving the mansion, I'll let go of you, if not, it's out the window.", Derek said.

"Sorry I got to finish teasing the vampire. And I've already been thrown out the door once, and teleported twice so the window isn't that different" the Raven crows

"Maybe you can get her to undo whatever she did to the thing to shut it up" Cathy suggests the bird starting to get on her nerves

"If not, I'm sure there's other ways of shutting a bird up..." Rift said, glaring at the bird with the silver glimmer in her eyes. "If you want to annoy someone, you should be careful not to annoy the wrong one..." she growled out, her lips curling up a bit.

Derek seemed to understand what Rift was getting to. "You want me to crush it? You could've been blunt abut it.", Derek said, increasing the grip of both his hands.

Jace seemed to puke in the sink.

"Hey just because something can talk doesn't mean you should kill it. No matter how annoying" a black cat says walking through the door which had just been opened. A girl walks through some luggage floating along behind her. She was wearing a barely there top and a skirt along with a pointed witch hat on her head. "Now now Isis, maybe we should keep out of other people's business" the girl scolds as the cat jumps onto the floating luggage

Rift's eyes softened as Derek's grip tightened, returning to normal. "No, it's alright, Derek...maybe you should just put it outside..." she said, leaning back against the wall. "After all...it's just not worth it..." she mumbled just as a girl and cat walked into the room. She glanced over rather blankly at the girl who seemed to go out of her way to show she was a witch...

Derek seemed to look at Rift. "I wouldn't have killed it anyway.", he said, going over the the window, throwing it out and closing it. Jace seemed to finish puking, only to be smacked on the back by Derek. "You okay Jace?", he asked as Jace puked again, Derek muttering an apoligy. Derek waved to the new girl.

Then a man with an eyepatch,and carrying 1 bag,walked through the door the girl never closed,and looked at everyone".....hi"says Varaug as he stands there"where does the luggage go?"

"In your room" the girl jokes back at the boy. "Isis which bag did I pack it in?" the girl asks her cat. "This one I think" the cat says jumping onto a long bag. The girl unzips it pulling out a broom that matched her outfit. "Anyone ever fly on a broom before?" the girl asks chuckling as she sits on the broom. "Magic broom so swift and sly, it is time for us to fly" the girl chants and starts flying around on the broom. Just for fun she let's out a cackle.


"Major showoff isn't she. I didn't think witchs really flew on broomsticks" Cathy says frowning up at the girl before returning her attention to her harp.

"Something makes me think she's just trying to fit a stereotype..." Rift mutters as the girl floats around. She walked over to Derek and Jace, standing close to Derek's side. "Is he alright? What caused him to puke?"

"Uh, I think he thought I was really gonna kill the bird.", Derek said as Jace pulled up from the sink. "Yeah, it would've taken a genuis to figure that one out.", Jace retorted. "That, and you slapped me while I was still feeling like puking.", he said. Derek playfully punched Jace's shoulder. Derek then put his arm along Rift's shoulders, pulling her in for a hug.

Varaug stands and thinks about her comment"good point,also how are you doing that?"says Varaug setting his bags down in some empty room,not locking the door and watching the girl and the others,ignoring their strange conversation,and then sat down,looking at the girl fly around and feel so special

"At least he didn't hurt the bird. I'm Astra by the way" the girl says flying down so her feet dangled only a few inchs off the ground putting her level with the others. "I'm Isis her familiar" her cat purrs jumping onto the head of the brromstick and balencing there

Rift wrapped her arms partially around Derek, resting her head against his chest. "So, you've got a pretty weak stomach, huh?" she asked Jace, pretty much ignoring the others. There seemed to be a flood of them coming in recently.

Jace seemed to pout at the comment. As if to protest, he raised his arm, only to have Derek defend him. "Aw, leave little Jason alone now Rift, or else I'll tickle you.", he said, putting his free hand at her abdomen and brushing his fingers up and down. Jace seemed to smile. The two afterwards seemed to take off.

Rift smirked a bit. "I'm not ticklish," she said, gently grabbing Derek's arms and pushing them to wrap around her body. "I didn't mean it like that. Just I don't ever really have problems where I throw up from an idea, or even a sight. I had to clean up rotting kittens once, probably the closest I got to throwing up from something like that..." she said, probably sharing a bit too much. She shrugged, wandering off after they left as well.

Varaug looked at the 2 people leave and sighed"good,less people around me"says Varaug as he looked at her"seriously,how are you doing that?"

"Magic of course. I am a witch. My parents taught me for seven years and now I'm here." says Astra swinging her legs a bit though still managing to stay on the broom. "I better get my things to my room" she says flying up the steps her luggage floating along behind her


Cathy says wishing everyone would be quite. She was still sitting on the steps playing her harp trying to tune out everyone else. Giving up on that she heads out the door remembering seeing some woods on the way in. She liked playing in a forest for several reasons the main one because it was rare to bump into another human
