He stayed in her lap. "There's also a vampire here.", Derek said, muscles tensing up. "It's gonna be hard to not get stressed now.", Derek said. "So did Jason apologize to you, and regardless, where is he?', Derek asked.

"A vampire?" Rift repeated, looking down at him. He seemed very stressed out by the fact. "Shouldn't you be...I don't know, used to it or something? I mean, everyone here is supernatural, so have you dealt with vampires before?" she rambled a bit, merely hoping Vampires weren't as bad as they'd been portrayed on television. "Jason...right, yeah. He's asleep I think. He was in bed when I left the room."

"Okay, well, Vampires and werewolves just dont' get along.", Derek said bluntly.

"Never met one" Cathy says shifting her weight from one foot to the other standing at the base of the stairs

"I see," Rift said. She wasn't sure about any of the sub relations in supernatural cultures and whatnot. Heck, she still didn't even know what she was. "Well I'm sure it wont be too hard to avoid him...or her...whichever the vampire is. After all, if you can smell them then you can just keep away, right?" Rift asked, glancing up to the other girl. "Well there's apparently one here in case you wanted to meet one..."

"I'll meet the vampire when I sink my canines into it.", Derek said, inching himself farther onto Rift.

"Please don't meantion sinking teeth into ANYTHING" Cathy says wincing as she again remembered ripping her parents' murderer apart

Rift slightly chuckled at Derek. "You might get in trouble for killing another patient then," she said, reminding him they were all in there together. "So did you come out here because you smelled another wolf?" she asked, her eyes only slightly glazing over.

"Yeah, and that vampire, I just don't like them, they're too.....goth.", he said. He seemed to try and roll playfully in Rift's lap.

Jace had woke up. Taking his blood sugar and insulin, he got dressed and went downstairs. Getting a glass of apple juice and holding a sandwich made from white bread and sliced ham. He took a bite and found them. "Hey.", Jace said as Derek looked at him. "Your watching you--", he said, getting cut off by Jace who nodded.

"I repeat never met a vampire. Never met anyone really" says Cathy sitting on the steps putting her harp onto her lap she starts playing

Rift glanced over to Cathy, "Yeah, that's why I said you COULD meet one now...since there's one in the building..." she said, shifting a bit as Derek rolled in her lap. She looked down at him, brushing more hair from his face before leaning down and placing a gentle kiss on his forehead. As Jace came around the corner she looked up. "They serving breakfast already?"

"No.", Jace said. "Gwen doesn't make breakfast, and she's the only one here.", Jace said, eating the sandwich. "It's make what you want day.", he said, taking a bite before looking at Cathy. "Hey, I'm Jason, but you, can call me Jay.", he said.

Derek seemed to laughed at Jace.

"I'm Cathy. Newest werewolf in the mansion" Cathy says still playing her harp hardly sparing Jace a glance

Rift smirked, as she well remembered what Jace had said earlier. Jay is reserved for girlfriends! She let out a soft giggle as he came onto the new girl. "Good thing you're immune, eh Jace?" she asked still smirking.

"Yeah.", he said. He listened as he watched the harp. "So, you play the harp? I draw, lots of things.", Jace said.

Derek could only snort out a smug laugh. He managed to get his rear end on Rift's lap. He gave her the pout.

"Ok" says Cathy not even glancing up this time as she kept playing

Rift let out a little "Oof," as Derek made his way completely into her lap. "You know, you're actually bigger in this form..." Rift teased, petting him. She looked up at Cathy and Jace. "Ouch," she whispered as Jace seemed to hopelessly hit on a very withdrawn girl.

Jace didn't seem fazed. "Do you wanna see my sketch of a wolf?", he asked her as he sat down beside her.

Derek looked up at her. "Yeah, but I'm cuter like this too.", he said.

"I couldn't care less" Cathy says still strumming away when a raven pops out of no where right in the center of the room

Rift's muscles twitched in surprise. "What the hell? Where'd that bird come from?" she asked as she calmed down a bit. It was a mansion with many supernaturals, but it was still odd. She then looked down to Derek and smirked at his statement. "Mm...debatable," she teased, before bending over and nuzzling into his neck.

Jace was hurt now. He merely slumped back to the kitchen, rummaging through the cupboards. Derek was able to pick up what he was eating. But Derek got up to fast, slamming his head against the counter. Slidding back down, he leaned against the counter. "Rift. Stop him....eating more sugar..", Derek breathed out, holding his head.

"Little witch. I wasn't done teasing that vampire." the Raven crows out mad stomping it's foot

"Did that bird just talk?" Cathy asks stopping her playing to look at the raven

Unfortunately for Derek, as he shot up he tossed Rift up too, hitting her head as well. "Nnng..." she muttered, rolling onto her stomach and tucking her legs up underneath her, hands on the back of her head. Seemed Cathy was the only one coherent enough to go. Rift was too distracted by the bump to really take notice, or react to the talking bird.

Jace fortunately walked in with more bread. "Hey, did that bird just--", he asked as Derek stood up, nodding. "Sorry Rift.", Derek said.

"Any of you no wings know where Luna is?" the Raven crows looking around at them

"No clue who that even is" Cathy says strumming her harp again
