Dere sent chills up Rift's spine. Even her breath seemed to shudder as he spoke. She leaned up some, looking into his eyes. "It's okay..." she said, before pressing her lips to his once more, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Mhm," Mara said, standing beside Luke. "You've been practicing," she said with a smile.

Cathy jumps having not heard them walk up and has to fumble a bit to keep her harp from falling. "Sorry I didn't know anyone else was around" says Cathy turning to face them cradling her harp in her arms

Luke smiled. "I'm sorry.", he said as Jace waved to Cathy. "Have you seen my brother Derek?", Jace asked shyly. Luke could tell Jace had a crush on Cathy, but wouldn't say anything.

Derek didn't want to pull away from Rift. He knew they had to move. He needed to know where Jace was. Then the anger returned as he gripped her shoulders tightly and lifted her up. "Where's Jason at? Why did you come out here? And how did you find out?", Derek began asking, the anger flaring.

Mara looked at Jace then to Cathy and giggled a bit. She could see it too.

Rift gasped, closing her eyes and turning her cheek as Derek became angry. She felt so small in his hands, and knew it wouldn't be hard if he wanted to crush her. "Jace is with Az...Az...That Luke guy!" she stuttered, unable to remember Azaraiah's real name. "Jace wanted to go looking for you, but he was told not to, so I came out instead..." she said, a bit of a tear in her eye as she looked back to Derek. It was obvious she was a bit frightened.

"He ran off when he heard that girl from before. You said your name was Jason right?" says Cathy looking at Jace for a moment before looking away. She didn't really want to answer or talk but she was making a effort to at least try

"Yeah.", he said, somewhat hiding behind Luke. "I'm Luke, and that's my sister Mara, we've heard your a werewolf.", Luke said.


Derek's fist was raised. He growled out, before turning and punching a much living tree. With a scream of pain, he fell to his knees. The second time. His hand was broken, knuckles moved and bleeding red. Derek stood up, looking at Rift. "I'm.....I'm sorry Rift...", Derek said, climbing up a tree and staying there.

Mara simply waved her hand as Luke introduced them to Cathy.

Rift flinched, turning away as he raised his fist before she felt him release her. She opened her eyes as he screamed, seeing his hand bloodied. She ran up to the tree, looking up it and gently placing her hands on it. "Derek! What's wrong, did I do something wrong?!" she asked, breathing heavily trying to fight back tears.

Cathy turns away. She didn't want to be a werewolf but there was nothing she could do about it. "I'm Catherine" she mumbles

Derek looked at Rift. "No, you didn't. This is my fault. I just hurt you. Your the person I care about.", Derek said, pulling his hand away. He looked at her eyes. "I just cant' live with the worry of hurting you in a fit of rage.", Derek said.

Luke twitched. "I'm sure everyone heard that scream.", Luke said. "Catherine was it, that's a beautiful name, better than Mara.", he snickered out. Jace kept himself clung to Luke. "You know Jason, you don't need to cling to me.", Luke said.

"You didn't hurt me..." Rift said, looking to the ground and placing the top of her head against the tree. "Please...it's alright..." she whispered, trying to get him out of the tree.

"Oh yeah and...your name is so much better," Mara said, crossing her arms and pouting. She glanced off into the distance. "It was a male, maybe Derek?"

"It was this way" Cathy says taking off running faster then a normal human. It wasn't long before she reached where Rift and Derek were. Without hardly a pause she slips her harp into her bag and grabs Rift holding her in one arm while she climbed up to Derek leaving Rift on the branch beside him. Moving slower she moves to a branch on the other side of the tree and sits there panting not used to using her werewolf strengh and speed it had tired her out

Derek merely blinked. "It's not your fault.", he said to her, when he noticed Cathy had forced her in the tree. Not far behind or late, Luke and Jace arrived. Luke panting as Jace jumped down. Derek looked at Jace.

Mara wasn't nearly as exhausted as Luke, since she wasn't carrying another being but still seemed to be a bit out of breath. Rift squeaked a bit as Cathy carried her up, setting her in the tree. She blinked a few times, completely not expecting it. "Uh..." she started, looking down and then to Derek. She blushed seeing the others arrived, and whispered to Derek. "I'm in a skirt..." before eying the people below.

Derek growled. "I dont' like that.", Derek said, grabbing Rift gently and leaping away.


(Derek left with Rift)

Rift merely squeaked as she was carried away.
[exit Rift]

Mara blinked. "Well...that was odd..."

"If I ever act do me a favor and shoot me" Cathy says between panting jerking her thumb in the direction Derek and Rift had dissappeared off to to indicate if she started acting like Derek did around Rift

"Indeed. We came out here to get you two, and now those two take off to go fuck.", Luke said, Jace nearly asleep on his back.

Mara glanced over. "Either they did it rather quickly, or they chose not to," she said, nodding in the distance where Derek could be seen carrying Rift back.

"You can let me down now, I can walk," Rift whispered, looking up to Derek.

"Uh, can I have some help down? I don't exactly like heights and wasn't thinking when I climbed up" Cathy asks looking down and feeling a bit dizzy seeing how high up she was

Derek let got of Rift. Luke looked as Derek came closer and took Jace. "He's mine, like Rift.", Derek said, with Luke jumping up, holding onto Catherine, and jumping onto the ground, landing smoothly. He released her. Derek and Luke shook hands like old buddies, but then Luke sniffed his hand. "You didn't fuck, but instead you wanked off instead?", Luke asked as Derek blushed.

Rift hit the ground, staggering a bit before catching her balance and walking with Derek up to the others. She blushed at Luke's comment, glancing to Derek. "Really? You left me all alone there on the ground to go jack off?" she asked, placing her hands on her hips, giving him a teasing 'tsk, tsk' look.

Mara simply walked up behind Luke, "You would know what that smells like, wouldn't you?" she picked quietly.

"Thank you" Cathy says when Luke helped her to the ground. She pretends she didn't hear the comments on what Derek had been doing and starts walking off not liking crowds which it was starting to become to crowded for her liking

"Considering all the girls that get me drunk and --". he stopped. "Well, you get the idea.", Luke said, going after Cathy. "Catherine, your name is beautiful and your harp could make the sun rise, where are you going?", Luke aske poetically, as he caught up. Derek went after them, Jace asleep on his back.

Rift sighed a bit, running to catch up with the boys, as did Mara. "Look, we have to stay together until we can get all the others and get them out of the mansion!" Rift reminded.

"You can call me Cathy if you want............I don't like large groups" says Cathy blushing a bit at what he said then glancing around at everyone a bit annoyed they had followed though she didn't let it show
