"Well then, your certainly going to have to fix that.", Luke said, looking at his right hand in disgust. "The pack is a large group of werewolves, who'll take care of you and any friends you have, as long as you need it.", Luke stated. Derek didn't say anything, and Jace merely snoored.

"The Pack?" Rift chimed in, taking a few quick strides to catch up fully. Mara looked at the girl like she was crazy. She knew about the supernatural world, but not of something like the pack?!

Cathy sighs. "I don't want to be a werewolf. I want things to be they were before the night my parents died" she says still walking

Derek looked at Cathy. "Cat, please, listen, your life was destined to be normal for what you and your parents were. The Pack will gladly help in making your life as normal as possible.", Derek said, Jace clearly gone.

Luke wondered how much Derek had came. Clearly against ruining any dignity Derek had left, he looked at Rift. "The Pack is a group of werewolves, known as the Children of the Moon, and this particular pack is called, The Pack.", Luke said. "Not very amazing name, but their young are very talented at defending themseves.", Luke said. "Although recently there's been a new Alpha appointed because the old on was killed.", Luke finished.

"Oh, werewolves...right," Rift said, looking around. She tried to keep her eye contact away from Luke's, still feeling guilty for that single moment in the kitchen, innocent as it was. "Belonging somewhere like that must be pretty nice. Lots of others around to protect you," she said, Mara simply following quietly.

Cathy didn't agree. She would give just about to not be a werewolf. She didn't want the pain of the change or to be in a pack and to have her parents alive since by now she was pretty sure the reason they were killed was because they were werewolves. While all this was going through her head her face was blank as she walked

Derek seemed to sigh. "Jason feels.....heavier.", Derek muttered quietly. He walked along with everyone. Luke look at Rift. "It's always nice to be with people like you, because you can get advice. Even if Catherine doesn't wish to be in the pack, they can help her live a pretty average life, of course after she controls the Change.", Luke finished.

Rift glanced up to Luke. "People like me? What's that supposed to mean?" she wondered aloud. She barely even heard Derek mutter, though didn't hear exactly what he said. Mara simply walked alongside the others, looking up to the sky as her rain boot clad feet padded along.

"Could you just call me Cathy, I prefere it to my full name" Cathy says still walking

"Members of society who hold the same opinions as you, the same ideals and such.", Luke said. Derek merely growled out a response as Jace nearly feel backwards.

Rift took a few quick steps over to Derek. "Are you alright? Do you want some help carrying him or anything?" she asked, lightly touching his side. She glanced momentarily back to Luke, then back to Derek. "Maybe I could help, or Luke?" she asked, worried since it seemed Derek was having troubles holding him up. Mara looked to Luke, following Rift's glance. You started something, didn't you? she thought silently, passing a glare to Luke that said pretty much just that.

"There is such a thing as a Lone Wolf" Cathy mumbles. She would offer to help carry Jace but she was still tired from climbing up the tree carrying Rift

Luke got yet another look from his sister. Pulling himself and Derek off the path, Luke planned to talk to him. "Look, hold hands with Rift, I know how you both feel about each other, it's quite obvious, I'll carry Jace.", Luke said. Derek looked at Luke. He went to speak, but stopped. "Fine.", he muttered out, putting Jace on Luke's back.

The two joined back up with everyone else. "A lone wolf is good and all, but The Pack still needs to know, because if you live around here, anything you do, their responsible for it.", Luke said.

Derek stood beside Rift, weaving his fingers around hers as they walked.

Rift glanced over to Derek, then down to his hand. She intertwined hers with him, letting a soft sigh escape as she leaned in toward him. Mara walked over to Luke carrying Jace. "We should be careful not to interfere with others' relationships, you know?" she asked quietly, looking up to her brother. It's one thing to look for your own soul mate...but you have to be careful messing with the affairs of werewolves, she thought, focusing forward. "We've been walking for a while now, how much longer?" Mara complained a bit, though it wasn't truly bothering her.

"No clue" Cathy says pulling out her harp. She starts playing it as she walks trying to pretend the others weren't there

"I'm merely lending my assistance, obviously I'm not a heartless creature bent on destroying..", Luke said, leading himself off.

Derek's nose twitched. "Quite far still, I suggest we sleep it off until morning.", Derek said. Looking at Cathy, he smiled. "You can go find a place to sleep, just make sure you can find us if something happens.", Derek said. Luke set Jace onto the ground, and went into a tree.

Derek pulled Rift away to secluded away, letting her hand go as he leaned himself against the tree, sitting down. Derek looked at the gound, hiding his eyes from Rift.

Once in the tree, Luke took the time to realise that he himself was hard and couldn't get comfortable. Fuck.., he thought, hoping no one came up.

Rift was swiftly pulled off into a little area away from the others. She looked down to Derek, kneeling then crawling over to him. "Derek? What's wrong?" she asked, approaching him before lifting his chin with her hand, trying to earn his eye contact.

Mara watched as Luke ran away up the tree, but knew better than to follow him herself. She'd already walked in on him far too many times doing things she didn't feel like catching again. Instead she walked over to another, hopping up onto a low branch and siting with her back against the trunk.

Derek kept his head down. "I don't want to talk about it.", he said, pulling his head away. "I guess I'm just tired Rift.", Derek said.

Luke sighed as he couldn't seem to get comfortable. "I hate this...", he muttered out, shifting his body back and forth.

Rift quickly jerked her hand back, rocking back on he heels to stand up. "Fine, if you don't want me around that's fin," she said, rushing off into the brush. She tried to find a quiet place, then sat down curled up at the base of a tree.
[exit Rift]

As Rift took off, Derek stood up. "Rift...", he said, his eyes becoming slightly feral. After she stormed off, the already injured hand smashed into this tree. He then stormed off through the bushes.

Cathy kept walking a bit after everyone had settled down. She was fine with spliting up. She stopped playing her harp long enough to find a place to rest. What she found was a bunch of large flat rocks on the side of a hill. Looking around a bit she found one that had a large cavelike hollow beneath it filled with dry leaves and grass. A bit of sniffing and she could tell it was a old wolf den but the scents were very old. Thinking it ironic that she didn't like being a wolf herself she climbs in. She was tired but not really sleepy yet. There was enough room in the cave for her to sit up so she did and starts playing her harp again

Jace awake to the harp. Enticed, he followed the noise to a cave. He looked inside, barely seeing Cathy. "Hey, mind if I join you, I don't really like being alone.", Jace said sheepishly.

"Might as well" Cathy sighs annoyed. She had been hoping to have the rest of the night to herself. She keeps playing her harp using it to help her calm back down quickly

Jace seats himself, listening to the beautiful music. "Uh..your a- great at playing that.", Jace said, sketching a picture.

"Thanks. I use it to keep calm, keep myself from changing. If I get to worked up it triggers my change" Cathy says continuing to play
