Having come into her powers early Astra is quite comfortable using them. She is a bit touchy about the subject of her parents and has been know to turn people into toads for talking about it. Most of the time she is friendly and cheerful though sometimes she can be a bit reckless. She has a knack for playing the flute and sometimes works her magic into her songs, if the songs are about something that happened sometimes she can make images play out around her as she plays, if it's about something like wind she can make the air stir around her sometimes forming a mini vortex around herself. She often has chats with her cat and figured out a spell to turn herself into a cat for short periods of time which has become a third favorite hobby after flying on a broomstick and playing her flute

History:
Astra comes from a sorcerer father and witch mother. Her powers started showing when she was about eight and her parents didn't try to hide what she was from her. Instead they helped her learn to control her powers though they were a bit wild at times. By the time she was twelve normal people started saying sh was bi-polar though she wasn't. She just had what was pretty much a double life, a witch when no one was around and trying to act like a normal girl around others. She knew that real witchs didn't do it but she couldn't help flying around on a broomstick from time to time. She found it fun though she had to be careful not to let anyone see her. By the time she was fourteen she was pretty much a outcast from normal teenagers so she started dressing up nearly every day in her own twist of 'witch attire'. She had the pointed hat and dark cloths but with a flare of her own. Also for her birthday her parents got her a 'familiar', a black kitten to be exact. For awhile Astra played around casting a few spells on it though most did nothing to it. One though ended up giving it the ability to talk and a brain as smart as any human. When she turned fifteen her parents died in a spell's backfire which ended up blowing up their house. Astra was shipped to a few different mental instututions but none worked so soon after her sixteenth birthday someone suggested sending her to Lyle Mansion Mental Instution
