The front doors to the Lyle Mansion creaked open eerily, closing with a loud thud. A new arrival had just been dropped off with her luggage. She seemed to be packed rather lightly with only a small shoulder pack, but most of her clothes had been moved prior to arrival. She was slightly on the tall side for females, but still not overly so standing at a good 5' 9". She had short, choppy light blonde hair and hazel eyes that took in everything around her.

Fresh flesh wounds on her arm showed where she'd been recently bitten by an animal. She'd been given rabies vaccinations in case the whatever attacked her had it. She didn't really mind the bite mark, as it added an interesting scar to her collection. Her skin was oddly pale, nearly glowing in the dim light of the Mansion at night. She had on a little tattered looking Gothic style black dress, along with black fishnets and heeled boots coming up just above her ankles. It seemed Dannika was going to have to step aside, there was a new bad girl on campus.

Walking forward, she was greeted by a woman who seemed to just run the front desk. "Julia Hera Euphrosyne Pedrotti," the woman said, reading off the information they'd received about her. She began shifting through some stuff looking for her room key.

"It's Despoina, or Des," she corrected the woman, hating her exorbitant name. She took the room key, and after short directions walked off down the halls. She could care less about finding her room at the moment, and so simply tucked the key into her pack and wandered off. She wondered what kind of people inhabited the place, and which ones she could get stuff from.

a boy walked in the entrance, a warm heat seemed to come off his skin and clothes as he strolled up to the desk. He wore alot of leather clothes and had a scar across the bridge of his nose that gave off a bad to the bone type feeling. If there was a bad boy in school with him around he would have stepped down and never came back, this boy seemed to notice every thing at the first glance. "Soren Alexander Gem, Felrez's older brother correct?" The woman said. Soren merely nodded once and tapped the desk a little with two fingers as she when through his bio form. she then handed him a key. He took it and gave the woman a smile and a wink before he continued to walk though the halls, looking for Felrez and listening for a giutar.

Des' cold skin and heightened senses could easily feel the heat of the boy as he wandered into the hall. She paused, evaluating the situation momentarily. She closed her eyes and could practically smell him. It was definitely a boy, she could possibly use him. Perhaps he'd been able to sneak something in, as the security who'd escorted her made sure she hadn't snuck anything into the mansion.

She glanced around a bit, then locked her vision down the dimly lit hall. Her eyes nearly glowed, reflecting the light almost like a cat's eyes would. She could easily see the boy, and licked her lips. She figured the adrenaline of the move and being in a new place must be giving her a boost in her natural senses. Either way, she was going to see what this boy was worth. She leaned her shoulders against the wall with one foot up against it, waiting for him to approach.

Soren walked up the hall still listening for music or any sign of Felrez he almost walked passed Des but felt her chilly presense. He stopped qiuckly, he turned in her direction scaning the girl qiuckly before he started to walk toward her, even thou he instincts said this was a bad move.

Des' lips curled back into a somewhat seductive smirk as Soren approached. She shifted slightly, one arm behind her back and the other in a 'come hither' motion at Soren. Her eyes were enchanting as she looked him up and down. "So, you must be new here," she said, disregarding the fact that she had just walked in not too long before he had.

Her foot found the ground again as she stood up away from the wall. Her hands went back to her sides as she took a few steps toward Soren. She walked in a slow circle around him, examining him. He seemed the type likely to carry what she was after. "So, might I know your name?" she asked, reaching his front side again and gazing into his eyes. "Mine's Despoina, people call me Des."

Soren made it his own point to freeze his emotions at this very moment, this girl was attractive but also seemed to want something from him. He just nodded as every bit of feeling drained from his eyes, body, and face. "Soren, my brother and my friends call me Rex"

"Now why such a cold look, Rex?" Des asked with a rather convincing pout as she placed her index on her bottom lip. One of Despoina's strong points was being able to manipulate people's feelings and act without truly putting off her true intentions. She smiled a bit, leaning back against the wall. Her hands met behind her back, interlocking. "So, what'cha in for, Rex?"

"Being Bi-polar I kinda beat this guy to the ground when he tried to fight my brother and well my brother, Felrez is in here too, he sees things that aren't there, sometimes claims their ghosts" He said shrugging, the pout almost melted the barrier around his heart but he qiuckly rebiult the defense, this girl still made him uneasy.

"Oh, so a regular tough guy, eh?" she asked, smirking. "You sound like a real bad boy there, Rex. So is that all you've done then?" Des asked. She'd done far more than this kid if he only had the one offense. "Maybe we could spar sometime," she teased, giving him a playful wink.

He smirked. "Lets justs say I have a rap sheet that's no joke" He said winking right back, he let the barrier drop. "Im a repeat offender at school, and a few times outside the state" He said leaning against the wall, his smirk lingering.

"Oh la la, so I was right about you," Des said with a smile. "I've got a pretty bad rep where I'm from too," she said, standing up again and shifting her feet. "Fights, drugs, alcohol. They used to just say I was acting out, y'know? Now they think I've got some antisocial disorder just 'cause I didn't like the fake bitches at school." Des of course left out the part about not liking all the others on top of that.

Soren shrugged. "Understandable I brawled the football team, the basketball team, the debate team, the hockey team, the soccer team, the baseball team, the chess team, and probably every team you can think of, smoked a little, got caught ,had to qiut, but never drunk...just couldn't do it since my uncle got drunk and went for a drive and never cameback" He said now looking at Des's eyes.

"I wouldn't see much of a fight in the debate team...well, physically anyhow," Des joked with a bit of a laugh. She glanced up at his eyes. It was obvious she wouldn't get any alcohol from this source, he was all dried up from a family tragedy. She put on a sympathetic face. "I'm sorry for your loss," she said very solemnly. "For me it was just an escape from my pain. My parents refused to take me anywhere with them. Then they sent me here for what they made me into..." she said, looking for reaction. Making emotional connections. Yeah, that was the way to get what she wanted.

Soren didn't speak his eyes said it all, He sympathized for her, wanted to help if he could, then he looked at the ceiling, hearing a faimlar strum of a giutar. "Do you hear that?"

Terrie sat on the couch. Strumming a guiter, she seemed to be humming some sort of song. Beside her was a cd labeled, "Best of Shania Twain". From anyone's guess she was probably pretty decent guitar player, and had vocals for it to, just didn't use them. She was humming "Come on Over" as she played it.

Felrez walked in, his own giutar slug over his shoulder, He sat on the floor and listened to Terrie play before joining it himself. He played to song with ease, his giutar was in sycn with Terrie so it seemed he wasn't ever there, If anyone heard Felrez play and sing they'd probably record him and try to get him to sign a deal with a record company in seconds.

Down below Soren was still listening to the song. He noticed the tune became doubled, who it was he still didn't know, but He was going to fine out.

Luna heard the music and walked in. Seeing the two playing she sits on the far side of the room to listen. It might seem odd to anyone else but she had her reasons. The black cat that had been following her around most of the time since she arrived was curled up in her lap. She pets it while she listens. She had her own instrument called a ocarina with her but she didn't play it. She didn't think it would go with the guitars plus she was a bit shy when playing around others so at the moment she was content to just listen

"Sounds like someone's playing a song," Des said, glancing around the hall. "You seem overly interested in it, it shouldn't be too hard to find," Des said, mildly curious who was up so late. She began to walk though the hall toward the entertainment room, following the sound. Eventually she came upon it, and saw a couple of people on the couch playing. Upon examination though, neither really looked the type to have what she wanted.

The cat on Luna's lap hisses at Des as she enters the room it's fur bristling. Luna didn't know what to make of the sudden mood swing of the cat and sits still trying not to get herself scratched. The raven flies by Des throught the door letting out a screech at her as it passes. It flies across the room landing on Luna's shoulder

Soren walked in the room and saw His Brother and two girls sitting around, one playing the giutar with him the other listening as it seemed with a cat and a raven. The Sorcerer leaned against the door frame, smirking

Des scrunched her nose up a bit at the raven and cat. Damn animals, what was their problem? She walked in, face softening again as she found an open recliner and sat down in it. Her legs crossed as she tapped her lip with her index. Soren seemed to have noticed someone familiar by his facial expression, so she assumed it was the brother he was talking about.

Felrez barely looked up he was so deep into the song, Soren seemed to smile a bit that was his for you easily asborbed in everything he did. "Thats my brother Felrez" He whispered to Des pointing to the boy.

Terrie got up and left.

Luna pets the cat trying to get it to stop hissing but it doesn't work. Sighing she figuring she might as well see if she could replecate what had happened before. "Black cat, evil woes, this cat is my foe. Twilight, dawn, blackest night, take this cat from my sight" she says hardly a whisper thinking herself silly, that is until the cat vanishs right out of her lap. She nearly jumps in surprise but she manages to keep still

Soren stared at Luna in shock. "What the hell?!" He said as Felrez looked up qiuckly staring at the spot the cat had been only a moment ago
